There’s a special Oenophilia Dinner at Melange tonight, featuring five courses, each paired with wines from Australia and New Zealand; the menu includes seared big-eye tuna with avocado meuille feuille, sorrel and fennel sorbet, chilled roasted Ripley tomato soup with basil cream and coriander, roasted baramundi, roasted lamb loin, grilled rack of lamb, sautéed lamb crepinette with goat cheese and rosemary, pine-nut tartlet, and thyme ice cream. Mmmm. It’s Acoustic Showcase Night at the Flying Saucer. And West Side Story opens tonight at The Orpheum.
