A tentative date for the unveiling of the new bar space at Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen has been set for Monday, January 19th.
The restaurant was expanded in the back for a large, airy bar space with vaulted ceilings and wood floors. The large bar, made with reclaimed wood and topped with a pretty marble-looking Corian, sits center stage. There will be two lounge areas to the side with sofas, club chairs, and stools. Colors throughout the restaurant have been updated with grays and neutrals.
The back patio features a massive stone fireplace and bricks that were salvaged from the old wall at Hog & Hominy. Owners Michael Hudman and Andy Ticer plan to do some cooking in the fireplace as well as lead cooking demos.
