Will Call: Tips and tidbits for the theatrically inclined

If you’re pathetic and can only make to one show this weekend why not make it Tartuffe? This is one of the great political satires, all wrapped up in a giddy, Comedia-inspired sex-farce. The Hattiloo’s mostly fine production starts slow and is a little ragged at the corners but when it hits it hits hard. You really don’t want to miss Jonathan Underwood’s fresh, super funny take on Moliere’s nasty man of the cloth. Trust me.

Shakespeare fans may wish to visit the U of M for a Stephen Hancock-directed production of Comedy of Errors. Seems like the U of M’s got a nice little theme working this season, eh?
